Alison L. Raffaldt set out to discover why people plaster their cars with bumper stickers. Her research took her on the road, driving cross-country from Washington D.C. to Hollywood, CA. Alison interviewed individuals with personal beliefs that ranged from one end of the spectrum to the other.  She firmly believes that every person has a story. She had conversations with a disgruntled parent, a gun enthusiast, a school teacher and others. She found people have reasons why they display their thoughts on their car and some of their reasons may surprise you.

Alison learned that bumper stickers evoke a wide range of reactions from others.  She hopes this film will help people remember that individuals are more complicated than the sticky piece of vinyl on the back of their car.
